The Project Week Takeover Gathering recapped this year's diverse experiences—from hiking in Mallorca to boxing in Chicago— and brought Upper School students together to highlight their favorite memories.
Each group designed a slide full of captivating photos and paired it with a short recording to share insights of their week.
“Ireland has a population of 12 million sheep, but only 5 million people,” senior Aidyn Jones said in the Literature of Place: Ireland and Northern Ireland audio.
In addition to sharing fond memories, the students also reflected on their key takeaways.
“Our goal was to make each kid as happy as possible,” senior Charlie Yannias said. He participated in Give Kids the World Project Week, which emphasized community service.
Students applauded each group's slide and the Project Week coordinators, Upper School math teacher Ed Mahoney and Upper School Spanish teacher Xavier Espejo-Vadillo, for their effort.
“Lets take a moment to thank Mr. Mahoney and Mr. Espejo for all the work they put into Project Week,” Upper School history teacher and Student Government Advisor Debbie Linder said.
