Eating with Madi-A review of Yolk

[/caption] Madi Brandstetter Co-Features Editor Yolk (American (Traditional), Breakfast) Overall Rating: 5 stars out of 5 747 N Wells Chicago, IL Yolk, voted best breakfast in 2008 by City Search, truly doesn’t lie. Yolk “pushes the envelope with new and creative breakfasts, specialty juices, and our own private labeled premium coffee.” Definitely bring a friend along to this wonderful foodie experience. They will be sure to thank you afterwards. At Yolk, there are so many options to choose from, whether its eggs, pancakes, waffles, sandwiches, and salads. There is something even for the pickiest eater. If you are a sweetaholic like me, you will love the cinnamon roll French toast, or even the chocolate strawberry cakes. Truly, a delightful and heavenly experience! Melt-in-your-mouth slices of French toast are served with pure maple syrup on the side to drizzle delicately. The French toast is topped with a cream cheese frosting and coated with a spiral of cinnamon, brown sugar, buttery goodness all coated with tangy but luscious frosting. If you are not a sweetaholic, any one of their eggs dishes is sure to be spectacular. The décor is fun and hip, definitely a twist on a classic breakfast joint, and the wait staff is friendly, they are always making sure your meal is being enjoyed. Also, another treat is their homemade doggie cookies; even your pet will be sure to love this place. So what are you waiting for? Go and enjoy the heavenly and affordable experience Yolk is cracked up to be!]]>
