Interview with GT Wrobel, Computer Science
August 25, 2014
GT Wrobel is joining the Latin team as the upper school computer science teacher. Born and raised on the near west side of Chicago, he attended Georgetown University where he received a B.S. in mathematics and economics. After a brief stint as an economic consultant in Washington, D.C., he returned to Chicago last year to tutor ninth and tenth grade mathematics at the Little Village High School campus. At the same time he began a master’s of computer science at the University of Chicago, which he plans to complete in the coming year. He enjoys biking around the city, frequenting the Open Government Hack Night at 1871, and sharing his love of all things mathematical (computers too!) with students and friends alike.
