Love was in the air at Latin this Valentine’s Day—and so were the dulcet tones of Valograms. Students were surprised with live serenades delivered straight to their classrooms and lunch tables to spread school spirit and positivity.

The school’s a cappella groups, the Romanettes and the Latones, teamed up with the boys basketball team to perform heartfelt (and sometimes off-key) songs for their fellow classmates to raise money for Latin’s Best Buddies Club. Students donated almost $600 through musical valentines, turning sweet surprises into the best gift for the day of love.

In past years, Valograms have always been a student favorite, and students hope to keep the tradition going strong and raise even more money in the years ahead.

Boys basketball captain and senior Josh Solovy said, “The team coming together for a good cause really lifted the Valentine's Day spirit, and I just saw so much positive energy throughout the day!”
