Upper School Library If you are interested in entrepreneurship, I want to let you know about an opportunity for students to participate in Power Pitch, IMSA’s annual business idea competition. Students in middle school through high school compete for cash prizes and mentoring by pitching in this program that is part of IMSA TALENT. Applications are open at this time and close on Jan. 25. The first round is a written application. The strongest 24 applications will be invited to Power Pitch on Sat. March 4 at IMSA. Winners of Power Pitch receive $1000 (first place) or $500 (second place) in two categories: Tech Ventures and Social Ventures. The top three high school teams from Power Pitch can go on to Next Launch (May 17), a regional competition among three schools (including IMSA) where the top prize is $10,000. Teams receive coaching from IMSA TALENT before and after Power Pitch. More information is available here. If you would like to apply, please reach out to Mr. Langston of the Upper School Library.
