By Collette Block, Micaela Berz and Eve Stein-Krause In the past three years, Convocation has transitioned from a dress-up day to an orange-and-blue day for Latin students. Instead of blindly putting on a nice dress or jacket, we spent a little extra time finding the perfect balance of orange-and-blue. This year, the Class of 2015 decided to combine the new and old dress code of Convocation to demonstrate their commitment and excitement for the school year to come. From wedges and dresses to loafers and scarves, our seniors killed it this year at Moody! Now, you may be wondering why we’ve decided to only show seniors this week. First of all, it is most definitely not because the rest of you didn’t shine in your orange and blue, but instead we wanted to highlight a few of the leaders in our community. Not to worry, next issue you will only be seeing those new freshman faces looking fab as per usual. We plan on featuring certain grades certain weeks to get a feel for each group of people. (Juniors and sophomores, you’re coming soon!) The Street aims to celebrate self-expression, not only on an individual level, but also on a grade and school-wide scale. Keep looking great, Latin; we love it! xo Collette, Micaela & Eve P.S. We are still looking for more people to take photos for our articles! Contact one of us if you are interested!
