Latin’s girls varsity basketball team won 56-29 in a blowout against Westmont on Friday.

The team has now secured a record of 2-1 on the season after their latest win, but they have yet to play a conference game. Although it is early, the team has high hopes for the rest of the season.

After the game, junior and captain Teagan Moroney said, “It was a great game. I’m so proud of this team for it only being our third game, and we are already holding this big of a lead against other teams.”
