Hi Forum-ers, Our names are Lauren and Olivia, and we’re actually not on any leadership committee. Nonetheless, we want to highlight the leaders that are writing for the Forum. This issue is replete with editorials—articles that share a writer’s personal opinion on a topical issue— which we believe is an act of leadership within itself. Our writers, who often opt for features instead of opinion pieces, are using the Forum as a conduit to express their thoughts and beliefs. We’re proud of them for their boldness, maturity, and skilled articulation. Writer or not, come to The Forum if you have an opinion you’d like to share with the Latin community.
