Happy Thanksgiving! This past weekend has been a time of reflection, a time where we gather with our closest friends and family to discuss what we are thankful for. But for every civilized conversation that takes place there are a series of conversations that families regulate at the dinner table to avoid controversy. Just as there are certain topics that are off-limits at our thanksgiving dinner tables, there are certain topics that we as Latin students avoid. But this Forum issue isn’t afraid to confront them and spark conversation. We have articles covering everything from the cost of our expensive Latin education to the disparity in support for boys and girls sporting events, both topics rarely discussed yet prevalent in our community.
