The drink dominating coffee shops and social media feeds nationwide has officially made its way to the kiosk.
Matcha has become a fan favorite among teenagers, so it's no wonder that Handcut Foods has decided to incorporate the drink at school. The drink, which debuted at Latin on Monday, is offered with a variety of syrup options, such as vanilla and raspberry.
Jade Martini, who works at the kiosk, said, “[Matcha] is super easy to make, and it’s my favorite drink, so I love that we now offer it.”

Students join Ms. Martini in her excitement about the new drink choice, praising its flavor and quality. “I really like the flavor; most matcha is watered down, but the one at the kiosk isn't,” senior Zoe Curry said. “I love how sweet it is!”
Students have also applauded the kiosk for expanding the beverage options on the menu. “I love that we have matcha now,” Zoe said, “I’m not the biggest fan of coffee, so I wish we offered it sooner.”
