Rana Gasser joins Latin as a new math teacher in the upper school. She grew up in the Chicagoland area, both in Northwest Indiana and Hyde Park. Rana received her bachelor’s degree from Illinois Wesleyan University, where she majored in business administration and minored in psychology. After working as a banker and branch manager at JP Morgan Chase Bank, she revisited her passion for teaching by attending Northwestern University to obtain a master’s degree in education. She has taught at both Lane Tech College Prep and Oak Park & River Forest High School. Rana enjoys cooking and travelling.
