Ben Quazzo Co-Editor In Chief The Varsity Boys Soccer team has played some solid soccer leading into the toughest stretch of the season. In the past 2 weeks, the boys have won 4 in a row, defeating conference rivals Morgan Park Academy, North Shore Country Day, Elgin Academy, and non-conference Guerin Prep. In that span, Latin has scored 22 goals, while only giving up 2. Seniors Alex Dago and Sam Austin can be thanked for the scoring, and the stellar defense of senior Henry Schreiber as well as the superb goalkeeping of Theo Atkinson can account for the few goals scored on. This stat might seem impressive, but the truth is these teams are not very talented. The Romans will face their biggest tests of the season in their next two games, playing U-High on Thursday, and playing Parker on Saturday for their homecoming game. Both games will have huge implications on the ISL conference title.]]>
