Upper School Library Have you noticed the parade of newspaper articles graced across the back door bulletin board of the library? Wonder what in the world is going on there? The back bulletin board at the library is home to a showcase of current news articles, picked in mind to appeal to student interests and topics pertaining to the world developing around you and the city you live in. Articles are picked from our subscriptions to the Chicago Tribune, The New York Times, and The Wall Street Journal. Recent topics on the wall span from Arts & Entertainment and Sports to International Business, Innovation & Technology and College Rankings. If there are topics or issues you would like to see posted, feel free to inform Mr. Langston at the Upper School Library. Library Community Board You’ll notice the right side of the bulletin board is not as full. This is your space to place any upcoming events, interests or promotions about your clubs, teams, etc. Contribute to the Community Board! Since this is your space, why not make it in your image? #TEDxLatinSchoolChicago Is there a topic or speaker that you believe would be great for Latin? Would you like to have them in for presentation? TEDx presents a phenomenal opportunity for our Latin School community to build practice in coordinating events, speaking engagements, and public performance. TEDx is taking flight at Latin once again this school year. Don’t miss out on this opportunity to be part of the action! To add your ideas and propose a topic, please fill out this Google Form or reach out to Mr. Langston at the Upper School Library ([email protected]). Don’t know much about TEDx?
