Stephen Wright is the new upper school learning specialist. Stephen joins Latin after serving as the ninth grade dean and learning specialist at Georgetown Day School in the District of Columbia. Prior to Georgetown Day, Stephen spent six years as an adjunct faculty member for the School of Education at Virginia Commonwealth University and 12 years as a high school math and English teacher in Richmond, Virginia. Stephen earned his B.A. in religious studies at The University of Virginia where he was also an All-American cheerleader. Stephen has a M.S. in special education from Old Dominion University in Norfolk, Virginia and a post-graduate certificate in Leadership Education in Neurodevelopmental Disabilities from Virginia Commonwealth University. He is excited to join the Latin community.
