Students and faculty dressed in matching outfits Wednesday, Sept. 24 for Twin Day, a part of Latin’s biannual Spirit Week.
Upper School students and faculty were encouraged to participate in the day-long event, which aimed to build community in preparation for Homecoming. Twin Day gave participants a chance to pair up with a “twin” or group of people wearing coordinated outfits, whether they were planned in advance or by happy accident.
Senior Mitchell Leavitt said, “We all showed up in the same outfit, and it wasn’t even on purpose.” Mitchell matched with fellow seniors Thomas McLaughlin and Gabe Swanson when all three happened to wear matching Latin basketball shirts and black shorts.
Throughout the day, students were spotted taking pictures with their “twins” and shared them through the @latinupperschool Instagram story. Many faculty and staff members joined in, adding to the fun and contributing to a lively and festive Spirit Week.
