Students embraced Spirit Week last Tuesday by wearing their grades’ assigned color for Color Wars Day.
In honor of Field Day Frenzy, student government put together a spring Spirit Week that included five different dress-up themes, including a day each grade would wear the same color.
Freshmen were assigned red, sophomores wore blue, juniors had on white, and seniors were decked out in black. During Advisory on Tuesday, faculty tallied how many of their advisees wore their assigned color in order to earn points for their respective grade levels.
At the end of the day Tuesday, an email was sent out with the standings following Color Wars Day. Sophomores were leading the charge in first place with the seniors right behind them in second, followed by freshmen and then juniors.
“I thought it was cool to separate by grade and pick one color for the whole grade,” senior Vijay Silvani said. “It was a fun opportunity for some grade bonding and matching with all your friends.”
