Students took to the stage at an assembly on Wednesday morning to perform a preview of the upcoming Upper School play “Much Ado About Nothing.”
Written by William Shakespeare, “Much Ado About Nothing” is a comedy set in Messina, Italy, that explores relationships and misunderstandings.
“The play centers around two love stories, a hoodwink, and a hilarious police force,” senior and actor Mel Butler said.
The assembly sneak peek showcased an excerpt from the play alongside a dance performance.
“The tone of the play is very jovial and even in its most serious moments, you can always find humor lurking beneath,” Mel said.
Audience members can experience the full production at 7 p.m. on February 5, 6, and 7.
