Latin’s tuition will increase by $2,175 for the Lower, Middle, and Upper Schools for the 2025-26 school year.
The Lower School’s tuition will be $42,765, the Middle School’s tuition will be $47,440, and the Upper School’s tuition will be $48,570. This increase averages out to a 4.9% rate, 2 percentage points over the current inflation rate in the U.S. of 2.9%.
In an email to Latin families announcing the tuition increase, Head of School Thomas Hagerman and Board Chair Dara Milner cited employee compensation, upgrades and maintenance, and higher operating expenses.
“Costs have and will continue to rise year after year.” Chief Financial Officer Michael Szczepanek said. “We believe this increase, along with continued success in fundraising and support from our endowment, will enable us to balance the budget.”
