The 2025 Project Week list will be released this Friday at 4 p.m.
P-Week this school year will take place the week of March 10, 2025.
Selections for this school year’s P-Week have been in the works since the end of Project Week last year, “Teachers have been thinking about what interests them and what the students are interested in,” Upper School Spanish teacher and Project Week Coordinator Xavier Espejo-Vadillo said.
There will be 16 in-town projects, 19 out-of-town trips, and three global exchanges offered. When registering for Project Week options, students must select at least four in-town projects and at most four out-of-town projects.
To register, students rank options from first choice to eighth choice. It is important to review the age requirements for each option, as they vary. Projects allow as few as eight or as many as 20 participants, and if an event is full, a student will be waitlisted for a possible opening.
Last year, 31% of students received their first choice, 45% received their second choice, and 61% their third. “We hope to see very different numbers there this year,” Mr. Espejo-Vadillo said.
The goal for Latin’s Project Week activities is to give students experiences they can’t receive in the classroom.
“We’re really proud of this year’s catalog,” said Mr. Espejo-Vadillo. “It has a really diverse range of offerings.”
