The ultimate comfort food: a crimson cookie complemented with a thick layer of cream cheese frosting is favored among students, and the red and white color contrast is quite the showstopper. Sophomore Annie Chen said, “It is not too filling making it perfect for a sweet treat.”

Iced Caramel Latte (Zhuangting He)

The kiosk cafe is renowned for its caramel lattes. They are made quickly, and students can personalize them to their heart’s content by opting for any type of milk. The milk-to-coffee ratio is a mastered skill at the kiosk and is aesthetically pleasing to look at. You can expect to taste a bold caramel syrup in the first few sips and dark chocolatey bitterness towards the bottom.

Bagel (Zhuangting He)

The doughnut-shaped leavened roll is characterized by a crisp, chewy interior, toasted to golden brown. It’s even better with a modest smear of cream cheese. Freshman Savanna Lane said, “When I am running late in the morning, a bagel is what I get for breakfast.”

Topping the list is the chocolate chip scone. Boasting a perfect buttery texture dotted with chocolate chips and coarse sugar, the chocolate chip scone forms a combination that is simply irresistible. Freshman Francesca Mora said, “My favorite is the chocolate chip scone because of the sugar on the top. They’re even better warm.”
