Junior Jack Zeiger destroyed his competition at golf Regionals on Wednesday. He won by five strokes, shooting a record-breaking 68 in total, surpassing Latin’s previous all-time school record of 69.

Throughout the competition, Jack remained composed, determined to win and enhance his team’s ranking. His consistent victories not only elevate his team but also prepare him for his main goal: competing in the State competition.

“I felt really good throughout the round and stayed in a good headspace, which I think was the main reason I played well,” Jack said.

Jack’s team’s bond and support motivate him to strengthen his success. He said, “I felt really proud after my round, and it was super fun to see my team after it all.”

On Monday, Jack will tackle Sectionals, hoping to secure another win and help establish a strong reputation for Latin’s boys varsity golf. “Now I’m focused on Sectionals, which is one of the most talented Sectionals in the state,” Jack said.
